On Wednesday night, at the Lancashire Tourism Awards 2026, ‘Stanley Villa Farm Fishing & Camping’ was officially crowned ‘Camping, Glamping & Holiday Park of the Year’!
Even typing that still feels surreal.
Standing in that room, hearing our name announced, and walking up to collect the award was one of those moments you don’t forget.

The award recognises excellence across the whole visitor experience, from accommodation and facilities to guest satisfaction, innovation and overall impact on tourism in Lancashire.
To be recognised at this level, alongside some outstanding tourism businesses across the county, is something we are incredibly proud of!
But the truth is… this isn’t just our win.
It belongs to:
- Every family that’s made memories here
- Every guest who’s left us a review
- Every child who has caught their first fish
- Every couple who’s enjoyed a wood-fired hot tub under the stars
- Every returning visitor who’s chosen to come back again
Without you, there is no Stanley Villa Farm.
I’m hugely proud of our team; Stella, Charlie, Sarah, Kevin, Tom and everyone who helps behind the scenes.
Awards are lovely, but it’s the people on the ground every day who make the experience what it is.
What makes this even more meaningful is how far the site has come.
From a simple fishing lake to a growing glamping and outdoor experience destination with award-winning pods, wood-fired hot tubs, family facilities, fishing lessons, on-site animals and holiday lodges in development… It’s been a journey built step by step.
And we’re only just getting started.
As winners, we’ll now go forward to represent Lancashire at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence at national level… something we’re incredibly excited (and slightly nervous!) about.
