We’ve been granted Planning Permission for 3 lodges!
It is a good victory for the site, and I am pleased…
but it’s been a real slog…
Regular readers will know that it’s very rare I’ll complain about anything…
But I can’t bite my tongue on this one…
- It’s taken 3 years and 2 months… which is mad.
- It costs somewhere in the region of £20,000. Also mad.
- It wasn’t the 20 lodges that we originally wanted, or the location we originally wanted.
But, it’s a start… and it’s the long game we’re playing.
My feeling is we’ll wait until the end of the Bell Tent season in November to start any work on them…
There’ll be a lot to do: preparing the ground, getting the power/water/drainage, etc.
I’ll be sure to keep you up to date on developments as they’ll be amazing when they’re done!
