If you’re staying with us on either of these nights you’re in for a treat…
Delicious wood fired Pizzas – freshly cooked.

We also have our Fish & Chip van on Friday nights in August.

Away from the site, at home I’ve been practicing my own Pizza making skills with my Wood Fired Ooni Pizza oven…
We had a couple of friends around we hadn’t seen in a while…
I got in the red wine, got on my apron, lined up my favorite Italian playlist on Alexa, and got to work…
Making the dough was a real labour of love…
I’ve tried a few recipes in my time…

I love his passion for what he does!
It took a bit of prep the day before, but well worth the extra effort.
My menu was;
Margarita (boring but my favourite),
Peperoni & spicy Salami with honey and chilli flakes.
Goats cheese – toasted pine nuts – diced apricots (sounds weird but works).
& A Dessert Pizza with Nutella, Marshmallows and Broken Biscuits!
I cremated my first attempt at this – note to self – don’t take your eyes off the pizza when cooking!
It took me a while to cook them – but the quality was great – and a fun evening was had by all.
It may be something I offer at the site in the future – but for now, I’ll leave it to the experts!

We ran our first ever Creative Workshop for kids in the Lodge yesterday (Sat).
It was a massive hit and all the kids really enjoyed it, including my own little boy Arthur (5).
They made wands, crowns, jewellery, all sorts.
We’re running the classes again on Wednesday 16th Aug, and Sat 19th Aug from 9.30am in the lodge.
If you’re staying then it’s free and included in your stay.
If you live nearby and want to book on, it’s £7 and needs to be booked in advance (just send us an email).
