Venue Rules
**DIP YOUR EQUIPMENT ON ARRIVAL – NETS, SLINGS AND LANDING MATS**
All rods must be secured on rod rests – They are not allowed to laid on the ground.
Red trolleys can be used but must be brought back immediately.
Current EA Rod licences to be shown to staff upon request.
Vehicles off the grass at all times. Only stop in designated car parks. No unloading at swims.
Rods are not to be left unattended. Property left at owners’ risk.
No unaccompanied children under 16 years.
Fish within the limits of your peg.
Open 8am till 8pm. DO NOT arrive before 7.30am. Advance bookings only or you can arrive after 9am to book on but this will not guarantee you a swim.
Carp Care
Landing nets, unhooking mats and weigh slings to be dipped before going to your peg.
No Keep Nets or Carp Sacks. – Retainer or full length slings to weigh carp ONLY
Unhooking Mats or Cradles to be used at all times. **FROM JANUARY 2024 CRADLES PREFFERED **
Zig rigs on one rod only. Minimum breaking strain line 10lb.
Carp care antiseptic to be used on all fish before returning to the water (available in the shop if you don’t have it).
*Carp care antiseptic is mandatory.*
Return fish promptly. Fish can be retained for no longer than 15 minutes (if you require assistance due to fish injury, please call 01253 804 588).
Baits & Rigs
Barbless hooks only. No crushed barbs. *Random rig checks are carried out*
Pellets are available to purchase on site. The fish are fed with these pellets so their use is highly recommended.
Banned baits: Tiger nuts, and baits containing nuts & bloodworm.
No braided line or free lining. Surface floats are allowed but must be observed at all times! (Braided hooklink is allowed)
All spombs / spods / bait rockets must float.
Please consider other Anglers when spodding.
Random rig checks will be carried out, please don’t be offended.
Bait boats are allowed – Please consider other anglers when using them
